Story
Events of Curse of Darkness
When the flow of time was disrupted, Saint Germain was enlisted to repair it. The cause of this problem was Death, who had decided to go beyond his bounds and directly interfere in the battle between Dracula and mankind rather than collect souls. Saint Germain tried to stop this scheme, but could not directly interfere in the matter because that would alter time; something he wanted to avoid at all cost.
He appeared before the Devil Forgemaster, Hector, who had embarked on a quest to to slay his former ally, Isaac, who was responsible for the death of his wife. When the gentleman greeted him, Hector was immediately suspicious and asked who he was and how he knew him. Saint Germain made it clear that he had no time to bandy words and requested Hector to refrain from pursuing Isaac any further. The Devil Forgemaster was unimpressed, having no time for such games. After Saint Germain revealed that he knew of Rosalee's death, Hector asked how he could possibly know so much. This was something that could not be answered, and Germain again asked him to reconsider his hunt, because the world was hanging in the balance of this very request; he then left.
Germain met Hector once again at the Mortvia Aqueduct, and noticed that he had been talking to another person just before he arrived. He suspected that this individual was Zead, the alter ego of Death, but the Devil Forgemaster wasn't willing to confirm it. The time traveler warned him not to be drawn in by Zead's words, but Hector said that his advice was neither neither solicited, nor welcome. Saint Germain noticed the man's determination, and allowed him to proceed for the time being, though not before warning him a final time and saying that he would track down Zead.
He encountered Zead at the entrance of the Forest of Jigramunt where the missionary accused him of going beyond his bounds; that he wasn't allowed to speak nor act upon matters related to fate. Germain admitted that this was true, but in turn asked if it wasn't ludicrous for Zead to do this as well. Zead responded that he was merely lending assistance to one who was seeking what he already desired. The time traveler found this ridiculous, because Death was also restricted by rules that he wasn't allowed to break. The God of Death interrupted him and tried to eliminate him, but his actions were futile because the gentleman avoided every blow. He declared that he would keep returning until the day that Death would finally surrender and disappeared in a flash of bright light.
He kept pursuing him, but Death was finally able to trap him at the top of the Eneomaos Machine Tower where a barrier prevented him from leaving the room. Though, the time traveler realised that his luck hadn't run out just yet when he noticed that Hector had made his way up the tower after deciding to explore it. He informed the Devil Forgemaster of his current situation and questioned the man how he was able to get to there. Hector said that he didn't notice any barriers blocking his path, and Germain realised that he could have a physical effect within the barrier. He wanted to fight the Devil Forgemaster in order to answer some questions of his own, which resulted in the two engaging in battle.
Hector was able to defeat him and Saint Germain quickly surrendered and promised not to interfere with him again, which he accepted. He commented on how fascinating fate truly was, which puzzled Hector. The time traveler said that there was a new destiny flowing out of him, and that he should walk that path without fear, because he was no longer alone. He was about to take off, but before he left, he told the Devil Forgemaster to give his regards to Zead. After his departure, the barrier was lifted and the encounter between the two man ultimately resulted in thwarting Death's scheme.
Germain decided to stay a little while longer, in order to see both Hector's and his mission coming to an end. He decided to travel to the future in order to witness the final battle between mankind and Dracula. Before he went, he wondered if Hector's struggle would be remembered. He traveled through time to find the answer.

Trivia
- Saint Germain is most likely a member of the same time travel organisation that Aeon founded after the events of Castlevania Judgment. Since this would mean that Aeon would be his superior, it's possible that he was the one who enlisted Saint Germain to repair the disturbance in time that occurred during Castlevania: Curse of Darkness.
- Saint Germain is hinted to make an appearance during the Demon Castle Wars.
