Lisa is a medicine woman from the 15th century and one of the two women whom Dracula ever loved. To some, she was known as a kind spirit who sacrificed all of her time to nursing of the wounded.

Story

In a time where medical treatment wasn't credible, Lisa was there to make a difference. Due to knowledge acquired over the years, she was able to prepare all kinds of remedies for the ill and wounded.

One day, she met a man named Mathias with whom she would eventually become romantically involved. What Lisa didn't know was that she reminded Mathias of his beloved Elisabetha, his former wife. After a while, she became more and more attached to him and his hatred towards god didn't bother her. Lisa loved Mathias very dearly despite his flawed views on life and they would eventually have a son together named Adrian.

Due to people's fear of the unknown and supernatural, rumors started to spread that Lisa's medicinal practices were a form of witchcraft. This caused her to be arrested and sentenced to death by the authorities. Right before her execution, she made Alucard promise to deliver to his father two messages: Do not do humans any harm, for their's is already a hard lot. Also, she needed that Mathias know that she will love him for all of eternity.

Despite her words, she couldn't possibly imagine the horrible consequences her death would set in motion.
