Iris is a medicine woman and daughter of a doctor. She is one of the maidens Richter Belmont has to rescue during the events of Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. Iris is a bright and caring person who looks out for others. If she is rescued in Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles, she will give a charm that breaks ice crystals.

Story
Events of Rondo of Blood
After Dracula was resurrected, he ordered an assault on the village where Iris lived. She was captured along with other local village girls who were imprisoned in several locations surrounding Dracula's Castle. Iris was locked away somewhere along the rapid rivers around the castle where she later would be rescued by Richter Belmont. Iris noticed that his arm was injured and convinced him that she should bandage the wound before he left. Before returning to the village, Iris gave Richter a charm that would help him on his mission and begged him to be careful.
